1 RESUME

The project purpose

The open joint-stock company «Kohanovsky Excavator Plant» specializes on produce of reclamation, road-building technics and spare parts to it, such as modern models of excavator on caterpillar and pneumatic tracks, excavators- loaders, cleaners of reclamation canals, mowing machine and other mechanisms.

The industrial potential of the plant includes buildings and constructions, machines and the equipment, composed of which unique metal-working machinery and installations, the highly skilled personnel.

For the purpose of updating machinery equipment, expansion of capacities at the plant the program on technical re-equipment and equipment modernization is annually developed and realized. However in the absence of money funds, rates of putting into operation of the new equipment do not provide requirement of the plant.

Realization of the given investment project will allow to OJSC«Kohanovsky Excavator Plant» on the basis of existing manufacture to raise a technological level of production, to update the machinery equipment with the modern high-efficiency equipment, to expand technical possibilities of manufacture and a nomenclature, to increase considerably the volume of the manufacture, to improve working conditions and safety.

The market analysis

The Belarusian market of excavators actively develops, volumes of manufacture of given production testifies about it growth. In 2008 the volume of excavator production in natural expression has increased in 38 times in comparison with an indicator of 1995. The increase in volumes of housing construction, activization of works in the field of road building promotes active development of the market of excavator in the country.

The further growth of the market of excavators is caused by following factors - growth of the Belarusian economy and increase of financing of infrastructural projects, high deterioration of machinery equipment and low completeness of the enterprises of necessary technics, rapid development of the building market.

Domestic manufacturers occupy strong positions in the market of excavator of Belarus. At the same time, despite considerable growth of volumes of manufacture, the Belarus manufacturers cannot satisfy requirement of the market completely.

Increasing a share of the market in Belarus, a penetration of new commodity markets in the CIS countries, Baltic’s, the South America at the expense of expansion of assortment of technics, increase in volumes of manufacture are main purpose of a marketing strategy of OJSC «Kohanovsky Excavator Plant».

The plan of realization of the project

Carrying out of actions for modernization of manufacture of OJSC « Kohanovsky Excavator Plant » is planned to carry out factory in 2010-2011.

The volume of the capital investments necessary for realization of the project in 2010-2011, is defined on the basis of the summary calculation of expenses presented by the enterprise. The sum of investments of a fixed capital according to the project is equal to 3 572 thousand US dollars, including the VAT - 545 thousand US dollars.

Financing of actions for modernization of manufacture of OJSC «Kohanovsky Excavator Plant» in 2010-2011 is planned to make at the expense of funds of the investor and own means. Funds of the investor is planned to involve as the contribution in authorized capital and partially as a returnable interest-free loan. Use of own funds of OJSC «Kohanovsky Excavator Plant» is planned for payment of the VAT on building and assembly jobs and equipment.

The investment project is paid back and will bring to the initiator of the project and the investor additional profit. Summary indicators of realization of the project are resulted in table 1.1.
